Roland and I hope that you had a wonderful and very Merry Christmas. Our day was a normal day in many ways with Roland working and our overall transition. My mind kept coming back to the wonderful reality of my Savior's birth and his great love for us. We are so grateful for this Great Love.
Alex is with us now and enjoying being back with mom and Papa. We took him to a local dogpark today for the first time. He wasn't quite sure what to do with so many strange dogs running around. There was a lot of sniffing! A couple of the dogs were puppies and didn't have developed social skills so it made for an interesting time. We love the dogparks!
The picture above is of Roland using Uncle Glenn's snowblower. He is a natural; don't you think? Haha! He had fun plowing the yard. We received a heavy rain the past two days so there isn't much snow left. It seemed funny to see rain in December. While doing some shopping today we only wore light jackets. We should be getting snow later in the week.
Our house hunting is having to begin anew with an offer being accepted on the house we were considering. So, we are still deciding on buying or renting. Please pray that the Lord will guide us into his will and meet our needs as he always does. We are very curious how everything will pan out. Please pray and we will keep you posted.
We have not found a church home yet. We visited First Baptist this morning. There are a lot of good churches in this area and we know that, in time, God will lead us to a place where we can serve and love. BSF has taking their holiday break until the 6th and I am looking forward to being with the group again. I love this group of ladies!
We hope that you enjoy the remaining holiday season and everyone in your family is well.
I love the snow~ enjoy it. We rarely get snow here. Would love to see some, though. Good Luck on the house hunting. I know that can be stressful, but the Lord will lead you to just the right one for your family, I'm sure of it! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to worry on the house hunting stuff and all.
